After Billie's mum dies and she endures a coercive relationship with an ex-boyfriend, she meets Sophie who makes her life bearable again. But when her ex shows up, at the shop she works at, it brings everything back to the surface.
Billie won Best Indie Short, Best Female Director and a Special Jury Award at Indie Short Fest for their April 2025 Edition, and has been long listed for their annual awards in LA 2026. Billie has been chosen for a number of screenings including Sound and Vision Film’s Open Mic Night, Hackney Supershorts, Square Lens Alliance’s ‘Women in Film’ Night in Halifax, Shorties in Leeds and will be screening at Making Moves and Movies’ Community Showcase in January 2026.
