Billie
After Billie's mum dies and she endures a coercive relationship with an ex-boyfriend, she meets Sophie who makes her life bearable again. But when her ex shows up, at the shop she works at, it brings everything back to the surface.
Billie won Best Indie Short, Best Female Director and a Special Jury Award at Indie Short Fest for their April 2025 Edition, and was long listed for their annual awards in LA 2026. Billie will be screening at BIFA qualifying Sunrise Film Festival in August 2026.
Billie has been screened at a number of events with Sound and Vision, Hackney Supershorts, Square Lens Alliance, Shorties , Making Moves and Movies , London Film Club & FilmClub4Lyfe .
Billie is next showing with Shorts on Tap at Hackney Picturehouse on the 24th June.
